BCO CRIT PRE-RACE COMMUNIQUÉ

 

Boulder Center for Orthopedics Criterium Presented by Panaracer and Black Swift

Pre Registration is closed.
SM 4 is full.
SM P-1-2 is full.
Day of race registration is available for other fields, up to the field limits of 50.

COVID Protocols: Let’s work together to model best practices and keep each other safe. Masks required at all times when not racing. Do not remove it until the Chief Referee

announces it on the startline.

Stay a minimum of 6 feet away from others when not racing.

No spectators please.

Please be prepared and be self-sufficient. There will be just the bare minimum of services.

There is no feed zone.
Bring plenty of water, ice, food, tools, spares, everything you need to enjoy your race. Please minimize your time at the event.
Results will be posted near the finish trailer.
Awards will be handed out, but no podium.

Racers not in the top 3 are asked to leave the venue immediately after finishing their race.

Racers agree to NOT attend if they have any symptoms or exposure risks as listed by the CDC guidelines. Please do not attend if you answer “Yes” to any of these questions:

  1. Are you feeling sick, such as a sore throat, fever, muscle aches, shortness of breath, new loss of taste or smell?

  2. Have you been exposed to anyone sick?

  3. Have you or a member of your household travelled to a hotspot?

Anyone not adhering to these procedures will be asked to leave.

Number Pick Up:

Please space yourselves while waiting in line. Use hand sanitizer and a mask.
Bring your own number pins.

Day of Race Registration:

Is available up to the field limits of 50.

SM P-1-2 is full.
Please print and fill out a standard race entry and waiver and bring to the event. You can
download it here.

Please pay by check or exact cash. Please pre-fill your check payable to: Sanitas Sports

ADULTS: $35 , JUNIORS 13-18: $15 Note: Juniors racing in a senior category pay the adult price.

Other Details:

USAC License Required: USAC 1-Day Beginner license: $10, only for Cat 5 men, Cat 5 Women and Juniors.

Annual licenses available online at www.usacycling.org
BRAC annual membership recommended to avoid $5 onsite fee. BRAC 1-day membership $5,

available on site (BRAC 1-day membership exempt with USAC 1-day & out of state riders). Annual memberships available at www.coloradocycling.org

USAC Experienced 1-Day license available to former USAC cat 1-2-3-4 license holders for $25 but only at USAC online not at race site registration.

Refund Policy: If the race is cancelled and you pre-register we will refund your entry fee.

Number Placement: Numbers on the right side.
Timing Chip: No timing chip
Protests: Protest period will close 15 minutes after results are

Results: Will be posted near registration following the completion of each rider in their category.

Directions:

From Denver:
US 6 West toward Golden, Exit Indiana St toward Denver West Colorado Mills Blvd., Stay on this road as it goes left and becomes S. Golden Rd. turn right on Quaker St and drive to the entrance of the CSP Track.

From Boulder:
Take Hwy 93 south toward Golden, Left onto 19th St., right onto Jackson St., at the traffic circle take the exit for S Golden Rd., at the next traffic circle take the exit onto W 16th Ave., make a left on Ulysses St., turn right on Golden Hills Pl., Left onto Quaker St., and drive to the entrance of the CSP Track.
